Apple Support iOS App Updated with New User Interface and Search
It has been almost a year since Apple officially launched its dedicated support app for iOS devices in the United States.
Now, just ahead of that anniversary, Apple has seen fit to update the app with some important new additions, as well as refine the overall experience. The newest update, which Apple released today and is available now, brings the version of the app to 2.0. The changelog is pretty short, all things considered, but for users of the app, the new additions should be welcomed.
That includes a new user interface, which adopts more white space and cleans up the interface just a bit. It looks more in line with Apple’s iOS in general. In addition to that, there is a new Discover section within the app, which Apple wants users to take advantage of to learn more about their individual products .
The updated Support app also includes the ability to search the company’s library for support articles on their devices . You will see the new search bar at the top of the home page within the Support app, making it easy to access right at launch.
In addition to all that, the app’s update also includes the standard bug fixes and performance enhancements.
